Benny Mamon

Position: Executive Board Co-Chairman

Owner and founder of Green-Group, a green infrastructure company that stabilizes soil using enzyme technology and is the Israeli representative of the Spanish company Solar. Benny advises, guides and initiates private real estate, demolish/rebuild, and National Master Plan 38 projects. He is also a consultant at S.M.M. Engineers and Project Management for institutional clients, including the Tel Aviv and Herzliya municipalities. Benny specializes in business consulting for real estate projects, economic evaluations and feasibility studies.

Shahar Cohen

Position: Executive Board member

Director of strategic planning at HP-Indigo, former team leader at Shaldor Strategic Consulting, and prior to that, software engineer at    Intel. Shahar has a BSc (cum laude) in computer science and business management and an MBA (cum laude) with specialization in financing and marketing from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He began volunteering at NOVA in 2005, initially as a team leader and then as project manager.

Adam Cohen

Position: Executive Board member

Case Manager at Shaldor Strategic Consulting since 2007, with extensive experience in business development and strategy formulation projects for some of the biggest companies in Israel, in a wide variety of industries. Adam is a research student at the Center for the Study of Rationality at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has a BSc and an MSc in cognitive sciences from Hebrew University and is a graduate of the Amirim program for excellence in the humanities at Hebrew University. Adam likes sports and cooking, particularly spectator sports and other people’s cooking.

Tamar Sharir

Position: Executive Board member

Director of Strategy at NICE Systems, where she participates in strategic planning, establishing partnerships and implementing strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions. Tamar has a BSc in computer science from Tel Aviv University and an MA from INSEAD in France/Singapore. In 2009/10, she headed NOVA’s Inbal project team at TAU, for building a business plan for a visitors center with a social awareness orientation at the solar energy center in Ashalim, in the western Negev.

Gali Michaeli

Position: Executive Board member

VP Strategy at applicaster, a startup innovating mobile TV experiences, previously a Manager at TASC Consulting & Capital, where she led the TMT vertical and specialized in telecom and media. She holds a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Law from Bar-Ilan University. She started volunteering with Nova as a student in 2006, and have been a part of Nova's professional arm ever since - both leading various consulting teams, and introducing best practices in the implementation process of projects across the board.

Hadas Gabay-Larom

Position: CEO

Specializes in guiding NGOs through strategic processes and development. Hadas was appointed CEO in November 2010 after volunteering for four years in the organization. For the first two years she was a team leader (won the Noam Fund scholarship for the outstanding team 2006/7) and then a project manager, and in 2009/10 she served on the board. Hadas has a BA in economics, an M.A. in environmental studies from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of Amirim program for excellence at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her interests include tango, meditation and piano. Hadas lives in Tel Aviv, married to Amit and a mother to Tom.

Nili Kaufman

 Position: Alumni community coordinator
Gained professional experience in the world of organizational guidance, provides consulting to NPO directors in the process of organizational development, the assessment of needs, building and implementing organizational guidance programs. Leads service and sales workshops at Colorbiz, an Israeli organizational consulting and development firm. Nili has a BA in general history and art history from Tel Aviv University and is completing her BA in social sciences at the Open University of Israel. She is also a participant in the social business entrepreneurship program at ESCO – the Israeli Center for Social Business.
